Executive Summary As we draw closer and closer to the 14 January 2020 End of Life for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008, we're seeing a lot of organizations taking the opportunity to not only replace their dated hardware, but replace their security posture as well. New Critical Vulnerability in Google Chrome Browser (Patch Now)

A new zero day vulnerability has been discovered in the Google Chrome browser that could allow arbitrary code execution on vulnerable systems. Details are scarce at this time (details below) but the short story is that users running Google Chrome versions prior to 76.0.3809.132 should patch now. Cyber Tech Cafe MyIT clients should already have the updates but are encouraged to restart Google Chrome (or reboot) to ensure that the updates are applied. Multiple vulnerabilities in Fortigate firewalls SSL VPN

Two advisories were published on 24 May 2019 regarding the SSL VPN components of Fortigate firewalls using FortiOS versions 5.6.3 to 5.6.7 and 6.0.0 to 6.0.4. Updates to both branches (5.6.8 and 6.0.5 or 6.2.0, respectively) have been released and are available for download.
